＜概要／目的＞
This seminar is about the new technique invented by Dr. Dong-sung Lee about the simultaneous profiling of 3D genome structure and DNA methylation in single human cells. As someone who enjoyed cell and molecular biology course, I think this event is really interesting.

The event is held at Building no. 12-102 of the TMU campus.

＜活動内容／具体的成果＞
Dr. Dong-sung Lee was the only presenter for this seminar and his talk was divided into two. The presentation was in English which is very nice since international students can fully understand the lecture. Q&A was held after the presentation. I asked the last question for Dr. Dong-sung Lee regarding the application of the techniques that he presented to other cell types.

＜感想／課題など（企画力／評価力／自主性等の向上を含む）＞
I think this event is very timely. We need to develop new techniques in sequencing and diagnosis of certain diseases. As someone who works on molecular analysis, I believe that this event is also a good opportunity for me to widen my knowledge. It is necessary to be aware of the novel methods that we can use to assess our data. I just wish that there will be more time for questions because the event is really nice.
