＜概要／目的＞
The purpose of this program is to strengthen the relationship between two greater universities, Tokyo Metropolitan University and the University of Seoul through the Academic activity “Bio-conference TMU-UOS” program. This program is a satisfying program to enhance the knowledge of students from both universities in science research, culture, and technology.

＜方法／企画としての特徴＞
One of the activities from this program was the activity lab, we arranged a mini-research presentation between Systematic Zoology Laboratory members and two students from the University of Seoul. In addition, we introduce how the zoology members did collect samples in the field by directly demonstrating the installation of a few traps in the field forest behind the campus.

＜活動内容／具体的成果＞
We conducted the lab activity including presentation and field trip for about three days, halfday respectively. On the first day on November 18th, we prepared the equipment and tools for making the trap that we would be installing. it is called a "pitfall trap". We had already selected five or six places and afternoon we put the pitfall trap in the field. Both UOS Students seem curious and excited about this activity. The pitfall trap would be left for three days (November 21st). I make the short video (Gdrive), as for TMU-UOS documented. On the second day (November 19th), we presented our own research studies between TMU and UOS students. In the last days (November 21st), we collected the samples that we obtained from the pitfall trap, and then we summarize the insect in order to analyze of diversity index.

All of the activities that we managed were successful. Both UOS students were particularly excited in the field trip moment.
