＜概要／目的＞

The Bioconference was held in order to exchange knowledge on differant research approaches used by the two universities and to showcase the current research undertaken by students of TMU and UOS.

＜方法／企画としての特徴＞
The Bioconference was held as two segments with a seminar by Dr. Dong-sung Lee from UOS on his work in research approach on Recurrent 3D genome structural alterations that facilitate activity dependent oncogene expression that was conducted at UOS with collaborations with US researchers.
He explained his research in a concise manner where even I as student from a different discipline managed to understand the work that was done.
The second segment was a poster presentation session that was done by UOS and TMU students where we discussed our research work and their impact.

＜活動内容／具体的成果＞

This session was very interesting since we got to meet researchers from a differant country that were working on very interesting and complicated research questions, however I also saw that there were students from both TMU and UOS that were working on very similar questions I believe that it would have been even more interesting for them to see similar work from a differant perspective.
 
＜感想／課題など（企画力／評価力／自主性等の向上を含む）＞

The session was very well organised and ended with certificate presentation to the TMU students that took part in the exchange event. This kind of interaction between foriegn researchers was very important and opens up the path for future colaborations.
