＜概要／目的＞
The most important things to do prior to an exchange program are preparation and planning. This particular exchange program took place at Tokyo Metropolitan University in Japan. The purpose of this activity was to facilitate the exchange of students from the University of Seoul (UOS) to Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU), building upon existing exchange programs between the two universities

＜方法／企画としての特徴＞
To ensure the smooth implementation of the activity, a comprehensive plan was devised encompassing all information related to pick-up and drop-off logistics. This included acquiring all necessary documents such as flight details of exchange students (including terminal arrival information and monitoring flight statuses prior to departure for the airport), arranging transportation cards (such as Pasmo or Suica cards), determining the appropriate date, time, and station for heading to the airport, and providing housing information for exchange students. Additionally, welcome signs were created and held up at the airport bearing messages like: "Welcome to Japan, UOS students".

＜活動内容／具体的成果＞
To achieve the goals of this activity as planned, we arrived at Narita International Airport (NRT) at 1:20 PM on Monday, the 13th of February 2023, based on the UOS students' flight number TW0213 from ICN departing at 10:20 AM and arriving at NRT at 12:45 PM (Terminal 2). We departed from Minami-Osawa station at 10:18 AM via the Keio Sagamihara Line Sectional Express to Motoyawata (Shinjuku Line) Platform 2, and changed trains at 11:26 AM at Bakuro-Yokoyama. After a 7-minute walk, we arrived at Higashi-Nihonbashi at 11:33 AM, departing at 11:37 AM on the Higashi-Nihonbashi Line to the Toei Asakusa Line Airport Express bound for Narita Airport (Narita Terminal 1) & Keisei Oshiage Line Access Express bound for Narita Airport (Narita Terminal 1). We boarded the Keisei Narita Airport Line Access Express bound for Narita Airport (Narita Terminal 1) at 12:36 PM, arriving at Airport Terminal 2 at the same time. The travel time was 2 hours and 56 minutes. While awaiting the students' arrival at the airport, Suica cards were distributed to UOS students for transportation. We then gathered, introduced ourselves, and had lunch together at the airport. Afterward, we took the same line as earlier to Hashimoto to drop off the exchange students at the hotel for 30 minutes. Subsequently, we all proceeded to the welcome party in Hashimoto city. This activity provided us with valuable learning experiences, which we discussed upon our initial meeting at the airport, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. From these experiences, we learned the importance of staying in a place that offers opportunities for new experiences, planning, organizing, and meeting new people, thereby fostering new friendships.

The exchange program between the University of Seoul (UOS) and Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU) showcased the significance of meticulous preparation and planning. Key aspects included logistics coordination, document acquisition, and transportation arrangements, ensuring smooth execution of the activity. Participants arrived punctually at Narita International Airport, despite the complexities of travel. The experience provided valuable insights into effective planning, fostering independence and evaluation skills among participants. Additionally, the program encouraged interpersonal connections and cultural exchange, highlighting the importance of embracing new experiences and building meaningful relationships. Overall, it underscored the importance of comprehensive planning and adaptability in facilitating successful exchange initiatives.
