＜概要／目的＞
This activity was conducted to welcome the UoS students and for the UoS and TMU students to have fun and get to know each other in a relaxed environment.

＜方法／企画としての特徴＞
The organizers for this event were Alyssa Marie Lola, Sakurako Kimura, Bounsanong Chouangthavy, and Rana Toyama.

For this welcome party, the organizers followed this method: (1) planning of venue, (2) planning of food and drinks, (3) planning of activities and games, (4) meet-up with UoS students, (5) actual event, (6) clean up.

In this welcome party, I hosted the event and helped in planning the activities and games.

＜活動内容／具体的成果＞
In this welcome party, we were able to get to know more the UoS students about their interests, hobbies, and what they wanted to do in Japan aside from research. First, the organizers distributed name plates for all the students and asked the UoS students to write the TMU students' names in Korean while the TMU students wrote the UoS students' names in Japanese. Before eating and drinking, everyone introduced themselves. Afterwards, we had mini games to make the environment more exciting. The party is a good start for the whole period of the exchange event since it served as a breather for everyone and to make the students more comfortable in their stay in TMU.

The welcome party was successfully conducted. The UoS students had fun trying authentic japanese food and drinks. Everyone also enjoyed each others company. Some students even exchange their SNS while chatting. The short introduction and mini games allowed the organizers to get to know more the UoS students and helped them on planning their activities such as places to go in Japan during their free time.
