＜概要／目的＞
The pickup of UOS students is one of the mopst important sections of the exchange program since this is where the students first meet face to face with the representatives of TMU and it is important that they have a good first impression and feel comfortable as they arrive in Japan so that they can enjoy the rest of the trip with a good mindset.

＜方法／企画としての特徴＞
To ensure the smooth implementation of the activity, a comprehensive plan was devised encompassing all information related to pick-up and drop-off logistics. This included acquiring all necessary documents such as flight details of exchange students (including terminal arrival information and monitoring flight statuses prior to departure for the airport), arranging transportation cards (such as Pasmo or Suica cards), determining the appropriate date, time, and station for heading to the airport, and providing housing information for exchange students. Additionally, welcome signs were created and held up at the airport bearing messages like: "Welcome to Japan, UOS students".



＜活動内容／具体的成果＞

To achieve the goals of this activity as planned, myself and Nong san arrived at the University and prepared a welcome sign to gather the UOS students. we then met up with Takahashi sense and left for the station. we arrived at Narita International Airport (NRT) at 1:20 PM on Monday, the 13th of February 2023, based on the UOS students' flight number TW0213 from ICN departing at 10:20 AM and arriving at NRT at 12:45 PM (Terminal 2). We departed from Minami-Osawa station at 10:18 AM via the Keio Sagamihara Line Sectional Express to Motoyawata (Shinjuku Line) Platform 2, and changed trains at 11:26 AM at Bakuro-Yokoyama. After a 7-minute walk, we arrived at Higashi-Nihonbashi at 11:33 AM, departing at 11:37 AM on the Higashi-Nihonbashi Line to the Toei Asakusa Line Airport Express bound for Narita Airport (Narita Terminal 1) & Keisei Oshiage Line Access Express bound for Narita Airport (Narita Terminal 1). We boarded the Keisei Narita Airport Line Access Express bound for Narita Airport (Narita Terminal 1) at 12:36 PM, arriving at Airport Terminal 2 at the same time. The travel time was 2 hours and 56 minutes. While awaiting the students' arrival at the airport, Suica cards were distributed to UOS students for transportation. We then introduced ourselves, and had lunch together at the airport. Afterward, on the same line as earlier we arrived at Hashimoto and guided the UOS students to the Hashimoto Park Hotel to organize their luggage and freshen up for 30 minutes before we left for the welcome party.

Despite the tiring journey and the long duration , We enjoyed meeting the UOS students for the first time and getting to know them. I was happy to be one of the people to welcome the UOS students to Japan, and I hope we gave them a good first impression of TMU students and made them feel comfortable.
