＜概要／目的＞
This program aimed to promote international educational and cultural exchange to develop mutual understanding between TMU and UOS students. It also helped students to exchange the biological knowledge and to enhance the relationship between the two universities.

＜方法／企画としての特徴＞
1.        To exchange biological knowledge by participating in UOS laboratories, doing experiments with UOS students, attending and presenting a poster in the 2018 UOS-TMU Life Science Joint Conference.
2.        Experiencing the Korean culture through Korean foods and famous places.


＜活動内容／具体的成果＞

We arrived Incheon International airport at about 3 p.m, and then we go to UOS by bus. After arriving UOS dormitory, we were invited to the welcome party held by UOS students. In this party, both UOS and TMU students showed short and funny presentations about our universities, laboratories and our professors.

It was a campus tour in the morning. The UOS students showed us their university with a long history and many interesting buildings.
After the campus tour, we came to different laboratories. Firstly, I introduced myself to the laboratory members, and explained to them my research. Secondly, they also introduced themselves, their laboratory and their researches. After that, they allowed me to observe and do their experiments.

I continued to enjoy the laboratory life. The students in Laboratory of Neuroscience taught me how to separate a tetis from a male Drosophila, then how to test some protein in the tetis. They taught me very carefully, so I can understand very well about their experiments.

We experienced the beauty of Gyeongbokgung palace and the peace of Hanok old village in Seoul. We tried a lot of delicious Korean foods. It was a long and very cold day but we had enjoyed a lot.

02/01
We attended in the 2018 UOS-TMU Life Science Joint Conference, which was held in UOS. In this conference, there were several oral presentations in the morning that help me to gain a lot of biological knowledge. There was also a poster presentation section in the afternoon, which brought to me a general understanding about researches in TMU and UOS.
In the evening, there was a Gala Dinner with professors and students of UOS. It was a great time for us.

The UOS students took us to Incheon airport. Then we arrived at Narita airport at about 5 p.m.


＜感想／課題など（企画力／評価力／自主性等の向上を含む）＞
This program is very wonderful and rewarding. It should be maintained and developed in order to help both TMU and UOS students have an opportunities to interact, learn and expand their knowledge, and also in order to enhance the relationship between the two universities as well as the relationship between two metropolitan Tokyo and Seoul.
